Singer Akothee has cryptically alluded to a breakup in a new Instagram post.
Fresh off the launch of her new album and book, the ‘Benefactor’ singer has alluded to breaking up with her boyfriend and manager Nelly Oaks, per a new post on the social media platform.
“I have walked out of other relationships with different ups and downs, so this last one shouldn’t be a shock or a surprise. It’s just a personal decision, I need time to concentrate on my new found happiness with less destruction, I need to work on myself and my career, I am not ready for any commitment, questions or answers to what transpired. I just didn’t want to hurt anyone.but sorry it is what it is,” Reads the post.
“Me and Mr N have a family relationship back in Rongo. For that matter let’s respect family and keep family respect, he is not someone I just picked on the streets. For that matter, wishing all of you the best of life. Courage is fear holding on a moment longer. Wishing you well,” She continues.
The Sauce also established that both Akothee and Oaks have unfollowed each other on Instagram, further cementing that they could really have broken up.
The singer launched her new album ‘Sibuor Madahako’ and book ‘Akothee Quotes’ over the weekend.
