Hitmaker Davido and his bae Chioma are engaged.
Popular Nigerian crooner, David Adeleke, aka Davido, finally proposed to his sweetheart, Chioma Rowland, on Thursday night, September 12.
In a video posted online, the loving couple is seen in what appears to be a restaurant in London, as the popular musician goes on one knee to propose to his girlfriend.
Following the happy event, Davido showed off Chioma’s massive ring in a video posted on his Instagram account.

The ring appears to be a pear-shaped diamond on a golden band encrusted with smaller diamond stones. Davido also showed off the ring in a photo posted on his Twitter account. They are yet to announce the wedding date but it will probably be in 2020 if Davido’s #Assurance2020 hashtag is anything to go by.
On her part, Chioma also put up the same photo, writing: “I love you @davidoofficial”. She also added jokingly, “you didn’t even let me wax yet.”

This comes 10 days after the 26-year-old, via an Instagram post, made it known that their families had been officially introduced; a step which in African tradition, is the first among others for compulsory marriage rites, reported Legit Nigeria.
There are speculations that Chioma is already pregnant for the singer who already has two daughters Imade and Hailey from two baby mamas.
Davido set social media buzzing after making a totally unexpected revelation about his relationship with Chioma. He dedicated his 2018 hit ‘Assurance’ to Chioma, she also featured in the video as his love interest.
