Popular rapper Tekashi69 could live out the rest of his life in prison.
The “Fefe” rapper is in trouble with the police, facing charges for racketeering and illegal firearm possession charges, as well as some involvement in shootings near New York’s Barclays Center. A member of the Nine Trey Bloods, Tekashi69’s gang relations were also nubbed alongside him. According to the Rolling Stones, “ex-manager Kifano “Shottie” Jordan, Faheem “Crippy” Walter, Jensel “Ish” Butler and Jamel “Mel Murda” Jones — were also arrested by the ATF on Sunday night and Monday morning and are facing many of the same charges as Hernandez, as well as drug charges stemming from the sale of heroin, fentanyl, MDMA and marijuana, prosecutors said.” In a bid to secure some sense of freedom while he awaits his hearing, the 22-year-old controversial rapper offered up his passport, a bail charge of $1M but was denied bail by the Court.
Tekashi also known as Daniel Hernandez is facing up to 32 years in prison due to the litany of charges against him. His most recent arrest is a violation of the probation set last month(October 2018) at his sentencing hearing for his ongoing case for the use of a minor in a sexual performance according to Rolling Stones. Probation violation adds onto the possible 32-year sentence the rapper would have to serve out for the more recent charges.
The “Bebe” rap star also reached out to 50Cent after his arrest, seeking help however 50 declined to help the young entertainer. Instead, 50 Cent took to Instagram to address Tekashi69’s poor choices.
