NAIROBI, Kenya, July 21 – TECNO has launched the SPARK 40 Series in Kenya, introducing four new models that target young consumers seeking performance, style, and affordability.
The lineup includes the SPARK 40 Pro+, SPARK 40 Pro, SPARK 40, and SPARK 40C. The flagship SPARK 40 Pro+ is being marketed as the world’s thinnest curved smartphone with wireless charging, measuring just 6.49mm thick.
The Pro+ model features a 5200mAh battery, 45W wired and 30W wireless fast charging, and a MediaTek Helio G200 processor. The Pro model runs on the Helio G100 Ultimate chip. Both models offer a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and Dolby Atmos-supported stereo speakers.
The devices include a 50MP main rear camera with image stabilization, and they come preloaded with AI-enabled tools such as smart file sharing and voice assistance, leveraging platforms like ChatGPT and Gemini.
All models in the SPARK 40 Series are equipped with Gorilla Glass protection, water and dust resistance, and TECNO’s HiOS 15 operating system.
The launch underscores TECNO’s continued focus on expanding its footprint in Kenya’s competitive mid-range smartphone market, particularly among digital-first and mobile-savvy consumers.
