NAIROBI, Kenya, Apr 9 – TECNO has unveiled the beta version of EllaClaw, the first mobile AI agent built on its OpenClaw framework, designed specifically for users in emerging markets, including Kenya.
The innovation aims to make smartphones smarter by handling complex, multi-step tasks with simple instructions.

The AI agent is integrated directly into TECNO’s digital assistant, Ella, offering features such as One Sentence Automation, cross-app data integration, and smart daily briefs that combine calendar events, SMS alerts, notes, weather, and curated news into a single view.

EllaClaw builds on the CAMON 50 Series, TECNO’s latest smartphone line, which launched in Kenya earlier this year and combines high-performance hardware with advanced productivity tools.
The EllaClaw beta is expected to roll out in the coming months, with details on participation and availability to be shared via TECNO’s official online channels.
