NAIROBI, Kenya, Sep 10 – Somali airline Starsky Aviation is planning to expand into international flights after 13 years of operating domestic routes in Somalia.
The airline is using the Aviation Africa 2026 conference in Nairobi to engage industry players as it explores opportunities in the regional market.
Nairobi could be an important base for the carrier as it seeks to connect Somalia with other markets in East Africa and beyond.
“For the past 13 years, Starsky Aviation has been committed to connecting Somalia through reliable domestic air services,” said founder Ahmed Dahir.
“Our vision is to take Starsky Aviation beyond domestic connectivity and establish international routes that connect Somalia with the region and the world.”
Starsky said it will announce the international destinations it plans to serve and the aircraft it intends to use.
