After enjoying months of extensive airplay and the global appeal and success of ‘Mwaki,’ Kenya’s biggest music star Sofiya Nzau and Brazilian producer-cum-DJ Serb have released the music video to the monster hit.
Set in the panoramic scenes of Hell’s Gate in Naivasha – the most befitting set location for a song that bear’s a ‘fire’ reference, the video does justice to the song with the fiery wardrobe, burning grass and what have you.
The troupe of female dances further add to the video’s aesthetic with their curated cultural dance moves, while more shots show Nzau and Zerb walking through the Hell’s Gate caves.
With over 2.9 million listeners, Nzau is the most streamed Kenyan and East African artiste on Spotify.
