JOHANNESBURG, South Africa, June 11 – SEACOM has appointed Kevin Kaburu as Managing Director for its Digital Infrastructure division in East Africa and the Middle East, effective June 1, 2025.
Kaburu brings over 15 years of experience from China Mobile International and Wananchi Telecom, with a focus on infrastructure sales, partnerships, and regional expansion.
SEACOM CEO Alpheus Mangale said Kaburu will lead efforts to scale SEACOM’s robust connectivity offerings across the regions as part of its dual strategy in infrastructure and services.
The company operates one of Africa’s largest ICT networks and is deepening its role as a digital transformation enabler across Africa, Europe, and Asia.
