NAIROBI, Kenya, Jan 4 – Nairobi County Woman Representative Esther Passaris says she is recuperating well after successfully undergoing a spinal surgery in India.
The legislator told her online followers that she had her operation at the Care Institute of Medical Sciences in Ahmedabad, India on New Year’s Day.
“I flew to Ahmedabad, India on 31st December, 2019 and successfully had Spinal Surgery the following day at CIMS Hospital. I thank God for the Gift of Life, my family for their unconditional love and everyone who whispered a word of prayer as I went in,” she said in a post on her Twitter handle.
This is not the first time the 55 year old legislator has undergone surgery.
In January 2019, Passaris successfully underwent two surgeries in Nairobi to deal with a recurrent back pain.
