NAIROBI, Kenya, April 6 – More than 100 individuals were honored at the inaugural Content Creators Awards that went down yesterday at the National Museum Auditorium in Nairobi.
The event was graced by over 200 budding and established creators who were part of a rigorous vetting and voting process.
Phase one of the selection process started in January, followed by the second phase, which ended in March.
The two processes were split into various categories, including Best Visual Creator, Eco-Warrior, Inclusion and Diversity Advocate, and Best Podcast Content, among others.
Supported by the Kenya Film Commission (KFC) and Nestle, the ceremony was led by CEO Timothy Owase of KFC.
Others who attended were Collo (formerly Klepto), Journalists Tony Kwalanda of TV47, Njoroge Githinji of Inooro TV, Development Communication and Youth Policy Experts Peter Quest of the Kenya School of Government, Bina Maseno of Badili Africa, Ken Walusala, President Emeritus, and the and the ICGLR Youth Chapter, among others.
