NAIROBI, Kenya, Nov 4 – French-owned hotel brand Novotel has expanded into Nairobi’s Westlands area with a new property featuring 347 rooms and suites, designed for travelers seeking adventure, relaxation, and business convenience.
This latest addition to Accor’s portfolio introduces a distinct blend of adaptable and sustainable design by RF Studio, tailored to both business travelers and families.
Fabio Gonsalves, General Manager of Novotel Nairobi Westlands, described the hotel as a place where “modern living meets the pulse of cultural fusion,” offering flexible workspaces and a range of dining options.
The hotel’s dining lineup includes the rooftop Trunk & Tandoor Gastro Bar, which serves Indian-inspired dishes; Gemma’s Italian Kitchen & Bar; the Safari-themed Social Hub coffee lounge in the lobby and a rooftop Pool Bar.
Paul Stevens, Accor’s Chief Operating Officer for the Middle East & Africa, highlighted the new hotel as a testament to Accor’s commitment to Africa, noting it “offers a gateway to Nairobi’s vibrant experiences and is a significant milestone in our growth strategy.”
In line with its sustainability commitment, Novotel has partnered with the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) to support ocean conservation through a three-year Positive Impact Plan, focused on reducing marine pollution, promoting sustainable fishing, and advancing ocean health research.
To mark its opening, Novotel Nairobi Westlands is offering a promotional rate starting at €143.25, inclusive of breakfast.
