NAIROBI, Kenya, Feb 15 – Bomet County Woman Representative Linet ‘Toto’ Chepkorir is off the market.
This is after a trail of photographs went viral on social media in which Bomet businessman Godfrey Kimutai is seen proposing to her on Valentine’s Day.
‘Toto’ made history by becoming the youngest Woman Representative after the August 9 General Election.
On Valentines Day in a decorated event filled with love ambiance, Kimutai is seen on one knee with an engagement ring in hand, seemingly proposing to Toto.
Bomet businessman Godfrey Kimutai can be seen going down on one knee, engagement ring in hand in the presence of close friends.
In one of the pictures doing rounds a message of “Will you marry me?” is seen confirming the speculation that the event was a marriage proposal.
Little is known about Toto’s fiancée given that she rarely posts about her private life.
The Bomet Woman Representative who recently graduated from Chuka University, beat eight older candidates to become the third Woman Representative in Bomet County.
She was thrust into the limelight when she went for a meeting at Deputy President William Ruto’s Karen home where he was hosting UDA aspirants.
Toto was locked out for about an hour by security officers who mistook her for a village girl who had strayed into the meeting.
