Hotpoint doubles down on built-in appliances with new push

NAIROBI, Kenya, Apr 16 – Hotpoint Appliances Limited has intensified its focus on built-in kitchen solutions, positioning itself to capture growing demand from homeowners, developers, and designers.

The company said it is consolidating its presence in the segment by offering a wider range of products targeting different market segments, from entry-level to premium buyers.

“We are not entering the built-in space — we have always been in it. What we are doing today is making our commitment unmistakably clear. Whether you are fitting out a single home or a 200-unit development, Hotpoint is the partner that will still be answering your calls years after handover,” said CEO Ravi Kanani.

Hotpoint distributes several global appliance brands, allowing it to serve varied customer needs across pricing tiers and design preferences.

The firm is also targeting property developers and contractors with bundled appliance packages aimed at simplifying project planning and procurement.

“What we have built is not just a product range — it is a complete answer. Whatever you are developing, whatever your budget, and whoever your end buyer is, there is a Hotpoint built-in solution designed for that exact brief,” said Director Raj Kanani.

The move comes amid increased construction activity and rising demand for modern, integrated kitchen solutions in Kenya’s real estate sector.
