Financial services provider CPF Group expands to Rwanda

KIGALI, Rwanda, Mar 12 – CPF Group has opened a new office in Kigali as part of its regional expansion strategy aimed at strengthening financial advisory and capital markets services across East Africa.

The office, located at the Zein Building in Nyarutarama, will host the group’s subsidiaries including CPF Capital & Advisory, Rukisha Solutions and CPF Financial Services.

According to the firm, the move is intended to support cross-border investment, capital markets development and financial technology solutions within the region.

Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Hosea Kili said the expansion reflects the company’s regional growth strategy and confidence in Rwanda’s financial ecosystem.

The Rwanda office will focus on capital markets advisory, infrastructure financing, structured finance and cross-border capital mobilisation targeting institutional investors and development partners.

CPF Group Chairperson Maurice Nduranu said the expansion is anchored on long-term partnerships and aims to support sustainable economic growth in the region.

Kenya’s High Commissioner to Rwanda Janet Mwawasi said the launch highlights growing economic ties between Kenya and Rwanda and reflects increasing confidence by Kenyan institutions in Rwanda’s regulatory and investment environment.

The new office will also oversee the rollout of Rukisha Solutions, a technology-driven micro-lending and payments platform designed to enhance financial inclusion in Rwanda’s regulated financial sector.

Founded more than 95 years ago as a pension fund, CPF Group has since grown into a diversified regional financial services institution offering pension administration, fund management, capital advisory and structured finance solutions across East Africa.
