DStv business customers to pay more as MultiChoice increases prices

NAIROBI, Kenya, July 27 – DStv business customers will have to pay more for bouquets as MultiChoice moves to increase prices from August 1.

In the new changes, Stay Ultra subscribers will pay an additional Sh95 to Sh2,875 while Stay Essential subscribers will pay an additional Sh70 to Sh2,150.

Likewise, Stay Basic, Play Ultra, Play Essential, Play Basic, Work Ultra, Work Essential, and Work Essential will go up by Sh70, Sh340, Sh300, Sh110, Sh140, and Sh40, respectively, among others.

“Please note that MultiChoice will implement a price adjustment on their DStv for Business packages effective 1 August 2023,” MultiChoice announced in a statement.

Early this month, the South African firm also increased charges for ordinary customers under DStv and Gotv.

In the review, charges for Dstv Premium will go up from Sh3,500 to Sh3,900 early next month.

Similarly, the cost of DStv Compact Plus, DStv Compact, DStv Family, and DStv Access will now go for Sh6,200, Sh3,500, Sh1,850, and Sh1,500, respectively, from Sh5,900, Sh3,300, Sh1,750, and Sh1,250 today.
