The NEST, a Kenyan multi-disciplinary arts organization that serves as a functional playground in which artists, thinkers and curious minds test new ideas within a context of vigorous debate, recently commissioned 20-year-old graphic artist Kevin Karanja to create a font of his own design.
After six months of experimenting and testing, this is the result: CHARVET – a font inspired by ancient African typography and Kevin’s love for geometrics.
