NAIROBI, Kenya, Mar 11 – Absa Life Assurance Kenya has been named Group Life Company of the Year 2024 at the prestigious Association of Kenya Insurers (AKI) Awards 2025, recognizing its excellence in life insurance services.
In a historic individual win, Alfred Mathu of Absa Life was crowned Life Insurance Agent of the Year 2024 with an unprecedented 776,000 points, significantly outpacing the first runner-up at 92,000 points.
Established in 2015, Absa Life has leveraged its strong banking and intermediaries’ network to enhance accessibility and streamline distribution through a fully integrated bancassurance model. This approach has fueled rapid growth, solidifying Absa Life’s position as a leading life insurer in Kenya.
