Kevin Richardson is the brains behind the Kevin Richardson Wildlife Sanctuary, which provides a self-sustaining African carnivore sanctuary for the purposes of wild species preservation through education, awareness and funding, especially pertaining to the rapid decline of large carnivores in Africa due to habitat loss and human-predator conflict.
Known affectionately as the “Lion Whisperer,” Richardson, a self-taught animal behaviourist, author and film producer; has developed unique relationships with wild animals – literally as a part of a pride of lions, as well as a group of hyenas.
