NAIROBI, Kenya, Feb 26 – Safaricom yesterday eannounced some changes on its Board with key appointments.
It picked Karen Kandie to be the Alternate Director to the Cabinet Secretary, National Treasury and Economic Planning. She takes over from Stanley Kamau.
Likewise, Ory Okolloh took over as an Independent Director from Bitange Ndemo effective February 24, 2023.
Linda Watiri Muriuki has also resigned from the Board of Directors with effect from 20th February 2023.
These appointments have been made with the approval of the Capital Markets Authority.
