NAIROBI, Kenya, Oct 12 – Kenyans enjoyed a rich array of Ghanaian delicacies at a recent food festival organized by the Ghana Export Promotion Authority (GEPA) and Ghana Trade House Nairobi.
This event, which precedes a gala dinner and the Durbar anniversary, aims to promote Ghanaian culture and products in East Africa.
Deputy CEO of GEPA, Samuel Dentu, expressed his delight at the enthusiastic turnout, highlighting the significance of food as a medium for cultural exchange and strengthening bilateral relations.
He noted, “Food is a universal language that brings people together,” emphasizing the role of such events in fostering connections between nations.
This festival followed the successful Ghana Trade Week, which showcased Ghanaian culture and attracted thousands across various malls in Nairobi and Mombasa.
