NAIROBI, Kenya, July 15 – Kenya Private Sector Alliance (KEPSA) Chief Executive Officer Carole Kariuki has been appointed to the Board of Equity Bank Kenya.
The appointment adds the private sector leader to the bank’s board while she continues serving as an Independent Non-Executive Director at the Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE).
Welcoming the appointment, the NSE said Kariuki’s experience in business leadership and policy advocacy will strengthen Equity Bank’s governance.
“Carole’s distinguished leadership, strategic insight, and unwavering commitment to advancing Kenya’s private sector have made a lasting impact across the business community,” the NSE said in a statement.
” We are proud to have her serve on the NSE Board, where her expertise continues to strengthen our vision of developing vibrant, inclusive, and sustainable capital markets.”
Kariuki has led KEPSA for several years, championing private sector growth, public-private partnerships and business reforms aimed at improving Kenya’s investment climate.
