NAIROBI, Kenya, April 16 – Jubilee Life Insurance has awarded full secondary school scholarships worth KES 3 million to 10 outstanding young artists in the 2024 edition of its Art Competition.
The winners emerged from over 13,000 submissions drawn from 26 counties, including 90 entries in the special category.
The firm also launched the 2025 edition under the theme ‘Art of Saving’, aimed at encouraging children to reflect on the value of saving.
Jubilee Life Insurance CEO Asman Mugambi described the competition as a platform that nurtures creativity while instilling financial literacy in children.
“Financial literacy is a foundational life skill, and the earlier it is nurtured, the greater its impact,” he said.
Now in its fifth year, the competition targets pupils from Grade One to Four and invites submissions across painting, drawing, collage, and mixed media. The deadline for entries is July 20, 2025.
Jubilee Holdings Chairman Zul Abdul and Group CEO Dr. Julius Kipng’etich lauded the Ministry of Education’s support, noting that the initiative not only develops talent but also promotes responsible financial habits among Kenya’s future generations.
