NAIROBI Kenya, Sep 26 – Jambojet expects a fuel shortage that was experienced early in the day to disrupt flights throughout the day.
In a notice, the airline attributed this to the fuel supply at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
It has, however, said the challenge has since been resolved and apologized to customers.
“Our fuel provider has resolved the issue and we are now fueling ready for boarding,” read the notice.
Jambojet said that all the flights from Mombasa, it adds, have not been affected and are operating as scheduled.
This comes as Kenya Airways also experienced flight delays due to a fuel supply hitch. The Kenya Airports Authority says disruption was caused by extended maintenance of fuel hydrants.
KQ, however, said the situation has normalized and most of the morning flights have departed.
