Chris Okinda emerged as the winner of Tusker Project Fame 6 Media Ignition, taking home a grand prize of Kshs 100,000, on Friday.
Emerging victorious from a strong field of 17 contestants – representing various Kenyan media houses – Okinda and the contestants enjoyed vocal and performance coaching, similar to what contestants undergo on Tusker Project Fame, immersing themselves into the experience.
Coached by Natalie Lukkenaer- a vocal coaching expert who trains Kenya’s star crooners Sauti Sol – the 17 representatives gathered at Safari Park Hotel for the 2-day event, and were pampered at the posh Windsor Golf Hotel & Country Club.
Okinda was followed closely by Kiss100 radio personality Lynda Nyangweso, who wowed the crowd with her sultry numbers.
