5 teachers in Kuria West arrested over exam malpractice

KISUMU, Kenya, Nov 8 – Police in Migori have detained 5 teachers of St.Mary’s Mabera girls secondary school in Kuria West sub county over malpractice in the ongoing Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examinations.

According to police, thirty mobile phones have also been confiscated from the suspects.

Suna East sub county DCI Richard Cheruiyot says the phones will help the police to carry out further investigations into the alleged malpractices.

The suspects are being held at the Migori police station.
