NAIROBI, Kenya, April 27 – Wonder Properties Kenya has partnered with AFC Leopards S.C. in a move aimed at boosting local football and strengthening corporate involvement in the sport.

The deal, announced ahead of the highly anticipated Mashemeji Derby, marks a growing trend of private sector support for Kenyan clubs seeking financial stability and competitiveness.

Wonder Properties said the partnership will support matchday activities, player welfare and fan engagement, offering a timely boost to AFC Leopards as teams increasingly turn to corporate sponsors.

Company spokesperson Cynthia Nanjala said the firm is keen on investing in platforms that bring communities together.

She noted that football plays a key role in youth development and national unity, adding that the partnership goes beyond business to support social impact.

AFC Leopards spokesperson Isaac Mulanda Mulindi welcomed the collaboration, saying corporate backing is critical in driving long-term growth and sustainability in Kenyan football.

The initiative was coordinated internally by Ernest Tsuma, with digital campaigns led by Hamisi Gift Musitwa.

The partnership reflects a broader shift by companies towards impact-driven investments, with sports increasingly viewed as a vehicle for community engagement and national development.
