Kenyan fashion stylist Annabel Onyango was given top honours at Sunday’s inaugural Deacons Fashion Show.
Held at newly opened Thika Road Mall, the event saw Kenya’s top fashion stylists – drawn from Kenya’s leading newspapers, magazines and television – battle it out with outfits from Deacons’ brands: Zara, Woolworths, Angelo, 4U2 and Babyshop.
Eddie Kirindo of Drum, Wambui Kibue of Sunday Nation, Sunny Dolat of NEST, Wambui Thimba of Standard, Connie Aluoch of Nairobian/True Love/KTN Anchors, and Anyiko Owoko of KBC/UP Magazine put on a great show with their fashion combinations; but in the end, Annabel Onyango of Mnet took home the Kshs 100,000 grand prize.
