President Mwai Kibaki at the World Trade Centre memorial site, former location of the Twin Towers destroyed during the September 11 terror attacks.
Until the 2001 attack, the Twin Towers was an edifice defining the New York City skyline with each tower having 110 stories.
Kibaki was in New York following the completion of a three-day State visit in the United States in October 2003.
