KILIFI, Kenya, Jul 20 – Police in Kilifi are looking for a house help who allegedly killed her female employer who had just returned home from Italy
Rahab Karisa, the Chief Officer in the department of Fisheries and Blue Economy, is said to have been stabbed to death by the house help.
Kilifi County Police Commander Fatuma Hadi confirmed the incident, adding they have launched investigating into the murder.
Rahab’s body was found lying on the floor.
The house help is said to have escaped after the incident with the Police pursuing her.
According to family members, the County Official had just returned back to Kenya on Wednesday from a trip to Italy.
The motive behind her killing is yet to be established.
Her body has been moved to the Kilifi Hospital Mortuary pending an autopsy.
