NAIROBI, Kenya Jun 16 – ODM leaders allied to the Linda Mwananchi faction are on Friday expected to popularise the political movement in Kisii and Nyamira counties.
Secretary-General Edwin Sifuna and Embakasi East MP Babu Owino have announced that they will hold rallies in Mosocho, Kisii Town and Keroka Town as they consolidate support ahead of the next election cycle.
Kisii and Nyamira counties are politically associated with Jubilee Party presidential hopeful Fred Matiang’i and Kisii Governor Simba Arati, who is allied to an ODM faction backing President William Ruto’s re-election bid in the next General Election.
The political outfit has so far held a series of successful mobilisation rallies in Busia, Kakamega, Kitengela, Kisumu, Mombasa, Nakuru, Thika and Machakos.
