NAIROBI, Kenya, Nov 9 – Metrofile and the Kenya Association of Records Managers and Archivists (KARMA) have partnered to modernize record management in Kenya, supporting the Ministry of Information, Communications, and Digital Economy’s (MICDE) Strategic Plan (2023-2027).
The collaboration, announced at KARMA’s 8th annual conference in Naivasha, will leverage Metrofile’s EverFiles platform to reduce costs, streamline processes, and enhance productivity across government and businesses.
“Effective records management forms the foundation of a thriving digital economy,” said Jackline Mburu, Managing Director of Metrofile Kenya.
Through EverFiles, the platform aims to secure data sovereignty and provide efficient access to essential information.
Cabinet Secretary Margaret Nyambura Ndung’u lauded the partnership, emphasizing MICDE’s commitment to advancing digital records initiatives as part of the government’s push for accountability and transparency.
The partnership also supports professional growth through the Women in Records & Information Management (WORM) initiative, promoting career opportunities and knowledge-sharing within digital records management.
