NAIROBI, Kenya, Aug 19 — The Senate has commenced the impeachment trial of Meru Governor Kawira Mwangaza following a record third impeachment by the County Assembly.
Impeachment proceedings at the Senate got underway in Nairobi on Monday with the Govenor pleading not guilty to charges presented by the Meru County Assembly.
