Rapper Frasha is not here for Eric Omondi’s endorsement of businessman-turned-politician Jimmy Wanjigi’s presidential seat aspirations.
Taking to Instagram with a lengthy message, the P-Unit musician called out the funny man and called him ‘the president of comedy for real’ as he feels Wanjigi ‘has nothing to offer.’
“For once I thought @ericomondi was serious with the youth agenda only to find out that he’s the president of comedy for real. The youth should stop being used and fight for there own space .We need to stand with those who have serious youth interests at heart . @jimi.wanjigi as nothing new to offer the youth he’s in the same category with the rest of the presidential aspirants so kama yeye ndio solution ya #fagiawote2022 Sisi tutaanza na yeye .This is a new youth revolution. Will only support the youth agenda #kwamezapamoja #YouthPower,” he posted.
Frasha’s post comes hot in the heels of Omondi publicly endorsing Wanjigi’s political aspirations after the controversial businessman recently let it known he is vying for the coveted top seat in the 2022 general elections.
In a video seen by The Sauce, the comedian is seen walking by a road, flanked by a crowd of people wearing shirts christened with the words ‘Fagia Wote’ as he chants supportive words to Wanjigi. “How have teachers been on strike since I was in Standard One till now? How are people dying at hospital entrances as there is no medication?,” he says in a rather loud tone.
“We have the power to decide who makes it to parliament. We have the power to decide who becomes president,” he continues before signing off with “Eric Omondi endorses Jimmy Wanjigi!”
Wanjigi revealed that ‘I will be in the race’ early last month.
