The new app, Ghostbot, detects texts from someone you’re avoiding or hoping not to communicate with and sends an automated response on your behalf that is designed to make the recipient ‘get the hint.’
Instead of blocking someone, Ghostbot’s creators believe the app will prevent social awkwardness. The app is also designed to detect even lewd comments and its response will reflect the tone of the message.
