NSE dismisses reports of Chair Kiprono Kittony exit

NAIROBI, Kenya, Mar 11 – The Nairobi Securities Exchange has dismissed reports claiming that Board Chairman Kiprono Kittony has stepped down, terming the claims inaccurate.

In a statement, the bourse clarified that Kittony remains chairman and continues to lead the exchange as it implements its 2025–2029 strategy.

The NSE said Kittony’s term as board chairman runs until July 2026, while his tenure as a board director will continue until June 2027.

The clarification follows recent media reports suggesting that Kittony had exited the position after being appointed chairman of Kenya Airways.
