Kenyan Afro-house powerhouse Sofiya Nzau delivered a show-stopping performance yesterday (27.07.25) on the Tomorrowland mainstage, joining forces with globally renowned American DJ and producer Steve Aoki in a historic cultural moment.
Nzau was one of seven top tier acts Aoki invited to share the stage, a lineup that also included Euro-dance legends Cascada. Her appearance marked a significant milestone not only in her career but for East African representation on the global EDM stage.
The highlight of her set was the live debut of ‘We No We’, a genre-blending Afro-house anthem which was produced by Aoki. Released just a month ago, the track fuses Nzau’s soaring vocals sung in Kikuyu, her native language, with Aoki’s signature festival-driven energy and futuristic soundscapes.
