NAIROBI, Kenya, Feb 20 – The number of licensed fund managers in Kenya has increased to 43 after the Capital Markets Authority (CMA) granted a license to Tradiam Investment Services Limited.
CMA Chief Executive Officer Wyckliffe Shamiah noted that assets under management in collective investment schemes have surged past Sh316 billion, fueling growing interest in fund management licenses.
Tradiam Investment Services will serve both institutional and retail clients.
Institutional targets include pension schemes, insurance firms, and corporates seeking portfolio management services, while retail investors will have access to collective investment schemes.
