NAIROBI, Kenya, Oct 28 – Authorised Apple reseller Salute iWorld has officially launched the iPhone 14, 14 Plus, 14 PRO, and iPhone 14 PRO Max in Kenya as demand for high-end devices soars.
The devices come in two new sizes, one measuring 6.7 inches, and one measuring 6.1 inches, all of which have a sleek and robust aerospace-grade aluminum construction finish.
Both models include stunning Super Retina XDR displays with OLED technology that enable 1200 nits of peak HDR brightness, a contrast ratio of 2,000,000:1, and Dolby Vision, as well as an improved internal architecture for greater thermal performance.
Greg Joswiak, senior vice president of worldwide marketing at Apple said that the iPhone 14 is available in the following hues: midnight, starlight, blue, purple, and red.
He continued by mentioning that it has a new camera system that offers improved low-light performance as well as a quicker, brighter TrueDepth camera with autofocus.
“The improved camera system with a new rear-facing 12Mp camera with a larger sensor and larger 1.9-micron pixels that improves low-light performance by 49 per cent,” he said.
The model has an A15 Bionic chip with a 5-core GPU, which provides remarkable performance and efficiency for demanding applications. This iPhone series is also more advanced than ever because of its amazing battery life, industry-leading durability features, and super-fast 5G.
On the other hand, the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max, the most technologically advanced Pro lineup to date, have Dynamic Island, a new design that offers a natural way to use the iPhone and the Always-On display.
The iPhone 14 Pro introduces a new class of pro camera system, with the first-ever 48MP main camera on an iPhone featuring a quad-pixel sensor and Photonic Engine, an improved image pipeline that significantly enhances low-light photos.
It is also powered by A16 Bionic, the fastest chip ever in a smartphone.
According to Salute Holdings Group Managing Director Vivek Mehra, the growing middle class and the desire for remote work as businesses adopt a hybrid work style are driving up demand for high-end electronics.
He continued by saying that as more tech-based businesses locate in Nairobi, the city’s tech sector is likewise expanding rapidly.

The iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max will be offered in four exquisite new finishes: deep purple, silver, gold, and space black.
