NAIROBI, Kenya, Jul 12 – The High Court has dismissed a petition challenging the validity of Nairobi Senator Johnson Sakaja’s academic qualifications due to lack of evidence.
In his ruling, Justice Anthony Mrima indicated that the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) did into err in clearing Sakaja.
Justice Mrima further stated that it is the responsibility of the parties to prove allegations they bring before the court.
