Gospel artist Richard Njau, aka Astar, has just dropped his latest album ‘Letting It Go’ with 18 songs and 18 videos.
The album will be retailing at ‘whatever you can afford it for’ for at least another month, according to Astar, who spoke to Capital Lifestyle on phone.
“If you have 1,000, 100 or even 10 shillings you can get the album. I am doing this because I want to get the message out there. It took me years to put it together because of the difficult message it contains,” he said.
The songs are retailing for 1 dollar each on kenyandownloads.com.
“It’s about letting go of anger, bad things, good things so that better things can come your way, wounds, sexual immorality…”
The young musician, who is part-responsible for starting up the ’Clean The Airwaves’ campaign is intent on putting positive messages on radio and TV so that viewers have a choice of what they want to watch.
