Genre-bending Masego teams up with streaming site Tidal for exclusive documentary

Masego is teaming up with TIDAL to release an exclusive documentary, ‘The Creator of Traphouse Jazz’.

Taking place at his dual home and studio, the documentary shares exclusive footage of his performance at the alternative music festival and the self-taught saxophonist, pianist, singer, and producer takes fans through his process of creating music and what his self-defined genre means to him.

The documentary which is now available on TIDAL.com/Masego; provides insight into Masego’s take on music, and what has influenced his flexible musical style.26-year-old Micah Davis, professionally known as Masego, is a Jamaican-born American musician. His collaborative record with FKJ “Tadow” has amassed over 135 million views on YouTube. He is also known for his song “Lavish Lullaby” on the series Open Mic from the Genius YouTube channel. He recently visited Africa as part of his Lady Lady global tour. While on the continent, he gave a thrilling performance in Kenya’s capital Nairobi, performing to a highly excited crowd.

His most recent release ‘Queen Tings‘ features Tiffany Gouche, and has amassed more than 1 million views since its release on July 31st, 2019.
