NAIROBI, Kenya, Nov 18 – Corteva Agriscience Kenya has introduced Verpixo® 100 SC, a newly registered fungicide developed for rose growers, marking the first local rollout of the company’s Adavelt™ technology.
Kenya’s floriculture sector—one of the country’s top export earners—relies heavily on disease-free roses to meet strict international market standards.
The firm says the product is designed to help farmers curb losses caused by powdery mildew and botrytis, two of the industry’s most persistent fungal threats.

Verpixo® 100 SC contains Florylpicoxamid, a novel active ingredient under FRAC Group 21, which the company says offers growers a new mode of action with no known cross-resistance. This is expected to support more sustainable disease-management practices while reducing the risk of future resistance.
According to Corteva, farmers using the product can expect higher-quality blooms that meet export requirements, lower losses, and more predictable yields.
