Digital content creator, Wilson Muchemi, took aim at Shornarwa for dismissing new content creators.
In a video seen by The Sauce, the influencer was reviewing popular Kenyan influencers outfits at the recently concluded Barbie Premier on Friday(21.07.2023). Shornarwa seemingly talked down to rising content creators saying, “hawa ni nani,” which translates to “who are these people.”
In an Instagram story, the Tiktoker expressed his disappointment, highlighting that Shornarwa seems to favor familiar faces in the content creation industry and is unwilling to embrace the potential of new talents.
While acknowledging Shornarwa’s established niche in the content creation field, Muchemi stressed that this should not come at the expense of marginalizing new and aspiring content creators. He believes that the digital landscape should be a welcoming space for all individuals with creative ideas and unique perspectives, regardless of their background or current level of popularity.
