On December 13th 2023, the grand doors of the British High Commissioner to Kenya’s residence swung open, welcoming a glittering array of guests to the annual Christmas reception. The air was filled with the festive melodies of carolers, and the scent of evergreen and spiced cider wafted through the opulent halls.
