NAIROBI, Kenya, Jan 17 – Digital payment platform Visa has inked a deal with Pesaflow, a fintech offering digital payments, to streamline and enhance digital payments in government.
Pesaflow plans to leverage Visa’s wide reach and security infrastructure to deliver improved public sector services for citizens.
“Together, we will enhance a digital government ecosystem that is efficient, cost-effective, secure, transparent, and inclusive, empowering the public sector to better serve citizens,” Visa country manager Eva-Ngigi Sarwari said.
“This is also part of our initiative to support the growth of fintechs through partnerships that bring about innovative solutions,” she said.
The partners say that the deal focuses on creating seamless, user-friendly digital payment platforms, integrating virtual and digital cards, and providing secure gateway services.
“This collaboration marks a pivotal moment for Pesaflow, as we unite our innovative digital payment solutions with Visa’s global network and security infrastructure,” Pesaflow Director of Government Relations David Kiprono added.
“Together, we aim to revolutionize the landscape of digital payments within the public sector, ensuring accessibility, security, and efficiency.”
