“Blankets & Wine is ecstatic to have Tems, one of Africa’s biggest superstars, grace the Blankets stage! As a female founded and lead organization, it gives us great joy to platform the definitive female artist from Africa. We are also excited to support the execution of Tems’ The Leading Vibe Initiative – dedicated to the development of women in the music industry – here in Nairobi in collaboration with perFORM music incubator. Finally, we are thrilled to be presenting an entirely new school of Kenyan R&B, alt-pop and fusion artists, all of whom we believe are the future of global Kenyan music.” shares the festival’s Creative Director, Muthoni Drummer Queen.
