SINGAPORE, Oct. 7 (Xinhua) — Singapore’s Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) arrested three suspected drug offenders in a recent operation, according to a statement released by the bureau Saturday.
The CNB officials seized 2,464 grams of heroin, with an estimated value of more than 259,000 Singapore dollars (about 190,000 U.S. dollars), the statement said, adding that the seized heroin can feed 1,170 abusers for a week.
Investigations into all arrested suspects were ongoing, the CNB noted.
