Gospel artist Eunice Lema releases her new album, Nakuliliya, a deeply personal 6-track project centered on faith, testimony, prayer, healing, and God’s unfailing help.
Built around Eunice Lema’s personal journey with God, Nakuliliya speaks to anyone trusting God through difficult seasons, crying out for help, believing for healing, or holding on to faith when hope feels distant. Most of the album is delivered in Kamba dialect, giving the project a strong cultural identity while carrying a universal gospel message of dependence on God.

The album’s focus track, “Nakulilia,” stands at the emotional center of the project. Inspired by the Psalms, where David cries out to God and receives help, the song captures Eunice’s own heartfelt cry to God. It is a prayerful declaration that God hears, answers, and comes through for His people.

“Nakuliliya is my cry to God, my testimony, and my thanksgiving,” says Eunice Lema. “These songs come from real seasons of trusting God, losing hope, receiving help, experiencing healing, and seeing God change my story.”
The album opens with “Mutethya,” a Kamba word meaning Helper, Eunice points to God as the endless source of help, reminding listeners that human support can run out, but God’s help never fails. “Mwaminifu” follows as a testimony of God’s faithfulness through challenges, reflecting a season where Eunice had lost hope but experienced God standing by her.
“Kethiwa Tiwe Yesu ” carries a message of healing and transformation, inspired by a time when Eunice was very sick and saw God heal her and change her story.
“Chakutumaini” continues the theme of total trust in God, speaking to moments when there is nobody else to depend on except Him. The album closes with “Kyendi,” meaning favor, a humble declaration that who Eunice is today is not because of personal strength, education, or goodness, but because of the favor of God.
