Nairobi, Kenya, Jan 11 – Motorists have been urged to brace for traffic snarl-ups along the eastern Bypass and adjacent routes as the Administration police recruits pass-out gets underway at the National Police College Embakasi A campus in Utawala.
The National Police Service (NPS) called on the motorists using the route to exercise patience and observe lane discipline for smooth traffic flow.
They advised the motorists to follow directives given by NPS officers on the ground as they work towards ensuring normal operations along the routes.
“We regret any inconveniences that may be caused, but we will work hard to restore normalcy,” Police said.
Kenyans from different parts of the country are expected to grace the event even as the NPS allows families to participate in the ceremony more than two years following the Coronavirus outbreak.
Last year, relatives of police cadets and the public were banned from the passing out parade following what the government described as heightened terrorist threats.
President William Ruto is expected to preside over the 58th ceremony.
