Nairobi CECs sign performance contracts, agree to deliver quality services

NAIROBI, Kenya, Feb 9 – Nairobi County Executive Committee Members have signed performance contracts, committing to deliver the highest possible quality of services and projects implementation within agreeable timelines.
Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja who oversaw the exercise said performance management will be an integral part of his administration so as to ensure efficient and effective delivery of services to Nairobi residents.
He said the first evaluation exercise will be done after six months.
Sakaja said the performance contracts signing will be cascaded downwards to Chief Officers and Directors while other officers upto the lowest in rank will sign performance appraisals.
The County Chief further said that performing CECs would be rewarded, while failures will face consequences.
